2006 AGM & Dinner in Brittany, France June 2nd,3rd,4th, 2006

The 2006 S & S Association Annual General Meeting and Rendez-vous will take place later than usual hopefully to take account of better weather and so allow for a flotilla of British boats to cross the English Channel (La Manche) and attend the festivities. Members from every region are urged to attend this year and it is hoped that this time there will be strong attendance from ALL the European regions as well as from our regular diehards from the US and Canada whom we welcome. I would emphasise that our French Secretary, Hervé Elies, has taken on himself the considerable task of organising this event despite a French membership, to date, of less than ten. Many of you already know Hervé but be assured that those of you who have not met him will be enchanted. This event not only promises some serious Gallic flavour but, knowing Hervé, some serious food as well! Moreover, the coast of Brittany is full of dramatic scenery, cliffs, sweeping tides and historical places to visit. Keep time free to turn this into a real Spring or early Summer break!

The programme is set out below. You are urged to contact Hervé at herveelies@aol.com for updates, and to bookbefore April 30th at the very latest. There will be more information about travel and hotels posted on the Association website shortly and information is appended below.
